Cross-union support, including from CFMEU, ETU, MUA and those loud mouths in the IWW, combined with broad community support including shoppers that refused to cross the picket lines.good delegate pre-planning, made for a great win.
After 17 days this hit chemist warehouse economically. This strike was one of the most successful in a generation, winning 18% pay rise, as well as a long list of improvements in conditions.
