Our objective is to promote union actions of a combative and internationalist nature, in order to strengthen the working class in the fight against capital and governments, and to promote international solidarity, to strengthen anti-capitalist, self-managing, democratic, environmentalist, independent unionism. of bosses and governments, and internationalist, fighting against all forms of oppression: chauvinism, racism, homophobia, xenophobia.
Every two years, the Network holds international meetings and updates a manifesto built collectively by the nearly 200 affiliated trade union organizations and movements.

Statement of the 5th Meeting of the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles (2023)
Representatives of various labour and popular organizations present at the 5th Meeting of the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles reaffirm the manifestos of previous meetings and the principles that unite us:
- Defense of the rights of the working class against capitalist exploitation that leads to precariousness, outsourcing, uberization…;
- Militant unionism based on workers’ democracy. Unionism of social transformation and revolution.
- Independence of the working class from all governments and bosses;
- Against the austerity plans imposed by governments at the service of capital
- Opposition to all means of oppression: machismo, racism, lgbtqiphobia, xenophobia and ableism;
- Opposition to the destruction of the environment. In defense of life;
- Against colonialism and neo-colonialism across the world
- The defense of self-organization, self-management, self-defense and other means of power of the working class;
- Fight back the far-right! Stand for democratic freedoms and against repression!
- Against the criminalization of social struggles
- Down with the imperialist arms race! No to capitalist wars!
- 12) International solidarity
In these ten years, since its founding at the Paris Meeting in 2013, the Network has become a point of support for the workers’ struggles across the world, uniting different labour cultures and heritages.
An example of this was the international solidarity that the Network and its unions and
organizations carried out with major struggles that took place in the last year: the fight against the social security reform in France and Spain; strikes for better wages in the United Kingdom and Venezuela; the workers’ aid campaign for the workers of Ukraine; the defense of immigrant workers and refugees; protests by indigenous peoples in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Ecuador; Palestinian, Sahrawi, Zapatista and Kurdish resistance; the struggle of Iranian women; the fight for the right to water in France, Uruguay and Mexico; and many other workers’ struggles across the world.
We reaffirm our collective will to strengthen the Network and international solidarity. To this end, we call on militant labour and popular organizations that agree with these principles to join the Network to fight for a world free of all means of oppression and exploitation.
